Today I propose to pay attention to a slightly unusual application for iPhone called “Callism”. This application is (attention!) A “dialer” for iPhone … You also think that something is wrong here: why install a “dialer” on the phone, because voice calls are the main function of any phone number, including iPhone? Well … let's figure it out. I will make it clear right away that Callism is a simple alternative to the standard application on the phone, designed to slightly diversify and speed up the process of making a phone call. We launch the application and go through a short briefing. After the tutorial is completed, the application will automatically sync all your contacts and now they are presented in the form of circles. But, they are not arranged alphabetically, and not in a chaotic order, but ordered depending on how often you call this or that number. The more often you call, the higher the contact is on the list. It's convenient, no doubt about it. In order to call, just tap twice on the contact. I must admit that the application really copes with its task quite quickly (definitely faster than the standard dialer from Apple). But after the call is canceled or at the end of the call, the phone appears just in the standard dialer, and not in the Callism application. Therefore, the question arises: if Callism cannot be made the default dialer, is it needed at all ?! By the way, the application also allows you to set a reminder to call the subscriber – just make a swipe on the contact. Also, if you pay attention, you will see two small triangles in the upper left and lower right corners. The tutorial explains what these triangles are, but if you missed this point, I explain: In the upper left corner there are tags with your contacts (that is, grouping of contacts). Well, in the lower right corner there is a keyboard (by the way, on T9, which is at least strange for iPhone), which is designed to search for contacts by letters or numbers. Callism is made in the style of iOS 7 and that says it all. It is up to you to decide how useful or useless this application is, but it must be admitted that it still has a couple / triple of convenient functions.
