While in Apple they are trying to improve the work of their navigation application at an accelerated pace, developers and users are trying to fix the situation on their own. So, yesterday in App Store a free program for iPhone appeared – ClassicMap, which is essentially the same, well-known Google Maps, but with simplified functionality.
The program, of course, does not compare with the original Google Maps. There is no Street View and no route planning possible. Also, scaling does not always work correctly. But even this option is much more informative than native maps from Apple. To evaluate this, the application even has a switch to the “Standart” mode, then instead of google, epel maps are loaded.
It is strange to expect this program for iPhone to last App Store long. In the meantime, it is available for free. No longer available, removed from the app store Install from the AppStore
