Good day! Today I will tell you about Cute CUT app – the most convenient video editor on iPhone according to my version. We've previously written about a variety of video editors (such as Drop'n'Roll). But this time we will consider, if not a professional solution, then a semi-professional one for sure. I must say right away that the application is shareware (in the free version, the video duration is limited and the application logo is superimposed). So, the first thing that meets us is the home screen, with a hint “Need help?” The home screen displays all your projects. At the top we see 3 buttons – “information”, “add a new project” and “change”. If everything is clear with the information, then you need to figure it out with the buttons “change” and “add”. By clicking on “edit” you can delete, copy, or export your projects to iTunes. You can also import projects from iTunes by clicking on the corresponding button at the top. Now let's move on to the main functionality of the application. We boldly click “Create a new project”, set a name, select the necessary settings and are surprised at the number of possibilities. Well, let's add some media files to the timeline by clicking on the plus sign on the left. We are offered to choose what to add: a video (you can choose from the gallery or record a new one), a photo (also either from the gallery, or take a new one), text, a drawn picture (we will return to this later), music or record an ear. So what can you do with a video? Of course, you can move it around the timeline (by the way, you can make several video and audio tracks), copy and paste pieces. At first glance, it may seem that this is all. But no, a huge number of settings opens on a double tap. I'll say right away a very nice thing: you can choose to which video fragment to apply these settings. What can you do here? Add beautiful transitions and customize them, change audio volume, video transparency, speed, rotate and flip video, cut, copy and delete video pieces. And, of course, you can change the size of the video, for example, you can make picture-in-picture and other cool things. You can also take screenshots while editing. Sometimes it is necessary. You can also expand the video to full screen by double-clicking on it. To preview your masterpiece, you need to click on the Play button at the top. You can do the same with a photo, but there are other functions: add a frame, round the edges and add a shadow. Let's move on to audio. Music can be cut, copied, pasted, deleted, added transitions (fading out, etc.) and, of course, made louder or quieter. You can do the same with the voice. Let's move on to the text. Here you can again cut, delete, copy and paste, add transitions, change the transparency, text size and color, font, you can add a border to the text and select its color, add a shadow, rotate and reflect text, align it to the right, left or center. In a word, everything we use in professional editors is collected in a mobile application. But there is one more trick. You can add your own drawings. The developers call it Self-Draw. You can draw handwritten drawings, choose brushes, color, brush size, add shadows, choose transparency and of course cut, delete, copy and paste fragments. That, in general, that's all. The application is written very high quality, throughout the entire use you will be accompanied by beautiful animations and shadows. I must say, once the application crashed for me, but I think it's only because the device is old enough (iPhone 4). But fortunately, the project survived. Despite this lag, it is very pleasant to use, it even resembles working in Sony Vegas a little. In a word – a must-have for those who like to edit video on a mobile device.
