Not everyone likes the changed multitasking screen in iOS 9. If earlier, that is, in iOS 8, while switching between applications running in the background, it was possible to redial a recent number phone, that is now only a way to switch between background applications and a way to force them to end. The situation will be fixed by the jailbreak utility Lylac.
Lylac is an add-on iOS that adds functionality to the multitasking screen that users are looking for. After installing the utility in Cydia and double-clicking on the 'Home' button, on the multitasking screen you can:
- do Respring (restart the desktop);
- turn off or restart the device;
- enable it in Safe Mode;
- close all applications in one move;
- activate the elements of the control point iOS;
- customize the visual presentation of information (change the background image, resize application cards, add visual effects).

As you can see, with Lylac you can 'pump up' the multitasking screen and, as a result, quickly control the most frequently used phone functions. For example, you can completely forget about the 'Power' button (its resource will significantly increase). You can also replace double-clicking the 'Home' button with a swipe up – instead of the control point, the multitasking screen is activated, on which, among other things, the standard control point will be presented iOS.
After getting to know Lylac, you no longer want to return to the standard multitasking screen and control center in iOS – you can perform more actions on one screen and much faster, which increases the productivity and, accordingly, the usability of the multitasking screen.
Officially, the utility is available on Cydia in the BigBoss repository and costs $ 1.99, which is not at all expensive – the saved time and resource of mechanical buttons more than cover the purchase costs. There is only one drawback – you need a jailbreak to install Lylac.
