The developer is actively looking for ways to bypass the strict censorship of downloading music from VK, and sometimes they succeed with varying success. Why variables? Simply, at the moment, almost all such applications that were available in App Store some six months ago have been removed from it. All available options are collected on the VKontakte music page for iPhone.
Here's another application for you – 'Music.VKontakte' – the creators of which decided to return the users of this social network, the ability to listen to their favorite music on Apple smartphones. And although this program is free for iPhone, it asks for money …
At the first launch, the application will request access to your VKontakte account, after which both your personal collection and popular tracks on the social network will become available to you. Also, personalized recommendations are displayed, music from the collection of your friends and groups.

The search, I must say, works fine – if you have 20 minutes of free time, you can significantly increase your music library on devices.
But, the main feature, for the sake of the possibility of using which many paid attention to this application, is the ability to download music from VKontakte to your own iPhone. But the option to download music is paid, and is available only if you subscribe. There seems to be a free plan, but the limitation of only 1 hour of audio is about nothing.
There is also a built-in equalizer and other interesting features. But, given the subscription restrictions, the only coherent application of the Music app is VKontakte – just another player with the ability to listen to music when you have Internet access.
Compared to Apple Music and others like that, this application has no advantages other than access to the VKontakte music collection. And this is certainly not an argument in favor of a paid subscription.
In general, it may be worth trying the application, but it is unlikely that it will stay on your iPhone for long.
