Periscope is a new social network for sharing amateur videos. Turn on camera and microphone access, point to what is in front of you and start your own live video broadcast. Each member of the social network Periscope or Twitter can watch your broadcast, express their opinion, and share it with their friends.
In principle, this is not a new service, this was first offered by Bambuser, then Youtube pulled up, but all this existed separately, by itself. The beauty of Periscope is that they shoved it all into an existing social network Twitter.
To access the Periscope features, register a new account or log in with your account at Twitter. After authorization, you will get access to all open broadcasts of other network members. Video broadcasts are tied to the user's geographic location, you can easily find participants from your country or even your city. Live broadcasts are also available as a list.

In addition to watching videos, the application has its own chat, information about the user's location is displayed from where he is broadcasting. Also available is information about who and how many people are currently watching your video.
The broadcast does not have to be public, you can close it from random passers-by and provide access only to your friends and subscribers.
As you might have guessed, for Periscope to work, your iPhone must be connected to the Internet, the displayed video is recorded in the device's memory and is available in the account settings. It can be easily transferred to the gallery and saved as a keepsake. For comfortable work, the Internet connection must be high-speed, there can be no talk of any GPRS – only 3G, and better Wi-Fi or LTE.
Everyone decides for himself how to use the capabilities of Periscope, it can be some kind of event (party, walk in the park, excursion) or anything that can be recorded on video.
Why is this necessary, you ask? For myself, I have not found a use, maybe due to the fact that I am not a social person and am not used to sharing private information through social networks. But we are all different and if you often share your photos with your friends, the opportunity to share your video will not be superfluous. Take care of your mobile traffic if you don't have unlimited traffic.
