Very soon, a remake of the already rather old film RoboCop will be released on the cinema screens, but as it has been the case recently: the game of the same name will be released for the release of the film. So it happened this time too, though it turned out that the game for iOS became available before the movie itself. The new action game from GluGames is a kind of shooter in which a police robot moves exclusively along a given route, and the entire emphasis in the game is on finding shelter from bullets and shooting the enemy. So, in this game you can choose your own mission from several available, they will differ in difficulty and opponents. Before the start of each mission, there will be various introductory dialogues with the heroes of the unreleased film. After completing each task, you will be paid a cash reward, which you can exchange for new weapons, a first-aid kit, or buy drones, which you need in case the mission turns out to be too difficult and impassable. Since RoboCop is built on a “freemium” model, you may have to spend real money on upgrades if you cannot accumulate it in the game. Controlling the game is quite easy, RoboCop itself is in cover, and the player needs to shoot his opponents at the right time. In order to aim and shoot – use the right side of the screen, and in order to just move the sight – the left. At the bottom of the screen are buttons that activate various skills of the robot, such as fixing a target and scanning for vulnerable spots in the enemy. Also in the upper right corners you can find buttons that make your life easier, for example, you can call drones to do all the “dirty work” themselves. In general, the game turned out with good graphics, but it is very monotonous, so it can get bored too quickly.
