Simple Machines is a set of 6 logic puzzles from Tinybop, which are designed to help your child develop more actively: logic, memory, fine motor skills. In App Store there is a separate category of games that are created exclusively for the little ones and which are not only fun, but also useful. Do not rush to take away your iPhone from your child, it is also useful for him, especially if a game like Simple Machines is installed on it. 
In Simple Machines, your child can learn how to use levers, pedals, ramps, wedges and screws. The application includes 6 physical puzzles, some of which develop logic (levers), and some motor skills (gate, block). 
In the game 'Lever' you need to destroy the fortress with the help of a catapult. To change the speed and trajectory of the projectile, the force must be applied along the entire length of the lever, and the lever itself must be moved along the fulcrum. 
In the 'Gate', the task is to set in motion a bicycle with a character sitting on it by rotating your finger across the screen iPhone. The surface of the land is sometimes even, sometimes sloping, with jumps of varying heights. Sometimes a solid surface will break off with a chasm filled with water. The faster the rotational movements, the higher the speed of the bike, so it is easier to overcome obstacles. 
In the 'Block' your task (or your child's) is to grab metal objects of various shapes and weights using an industrial magnet suspended on hinges (static or movable), lift them off the ground and lift them to a certain height. As soon as the desired altitude is reached, the object is launched, it can be a satellite, shuttle or planet. Objects differ in shape and weight, so you need to lift them in different ways, there are 3 sets of hinges to choose from. 
In 'Wedges' everything is simple, there are 2 giant blocks of ice, inside of them there are various characters that must be freed. This can be done by splitting the blocks with wedges. Hit the wedges with hydraulic hammers. Swipe up raises the hammer, swipe down lowers it. The higher you raise the hammer, the stronger the blow, which means the faster the result will be achieved. 
In the 'Screw' mini-game, there are water tanks above the screw heads, in which fish of various sizes swim. The tanks are at different heights and your task is to raise the screws by one height with quick taps so that the fish can move freely between the tanks. Large fish devour small ones; in order to get the next portion of food, it is necessary to raise the central screw. 
The 'inclined plane' is like a pinball. You have 2 spring guns at your disposal that shoot small balls. The trajectory of the projectile is regulated by the inclination of the reflectors. The task is to extend the flight of the projectile as long as possible. 
There is no competition in Simple Machines: the levels are endless, no points are awarded, and no time runs out. Considering that a child's attention can be kept for only 10 minutes, monotonous activities will quickly bore him, even faster than adults. The graphics are cartoonish, unusual and at first I even like it, but just like the gameplay, you quickly get used to it. This could be ignored if the game was accompanied by music, but there is no background music in Simple Machines, there are only sounds. 
In my opinion, Simple Machines is not worth its 199 rubles. In App Store in the corresponding category there are games for children that are more beautiful and more fun. Playing is boring and monotonous.
