Sleep Better is a smart alarm clock with sleep phase tracking. The application automatically monitors your sleep state and plays music at the optimal moment to wake up your body, just plug iPhone next to the bed and activate the alarm. The timer is set to the wake-up time limit. The wake-up range in the free version cannot be changed, by default it is set to 30 minutes. In other words, if you set the timer for 6 am, the signal can sound in the range 05:30 – 06:00, but not later. As in the standard alarm clock, you can postpone the signal for 10 minutes with one touch. Apart from the alarm clock, Sleep Better collects statistics on the quality of your sleep. Activate the appropriate mode, exercise, for example, and assess the quality of sleep after it. There are also modes: 'Hard day', 'Not my bed', 'Late meal', 'Caffeine' and 'Alcohol'. After waking up, you can independently assess your sleep and make appropriate notes and a diary. Unfortunately, the free version of Sleep Better is limited and contains inline ads, although the banner doesn't get in the way and looks like part of the interface. In order to keep statistics and analyze sleep, you will need to either register an account with Runtastic, or log in through Facebook and provide the application with access to information from your account. Sleep Better also supports exporting data to the proprietary 'Health' application. In order not to wake up a loved one or child, with one touch on the alarm screen, you can turn on the flashlight and get up quietly. I am satisfied with the quality and appearance of the application, the developer has declared all the functions I need, which, I hope, will make my awakening more painless than before. Considering that Sleep Better is free, everyone should try it.
