Good day, friends! Remember the days when there were no Sony PlayStations or X-BOXs? Yes, then there was a beloved dandy of all of us, for whom, if she was, the whole court could respect. Well, if there was also a Mario Brothers cartridge, then in general you were just a king. Yes, it's always a classic. But then time passes, and a lot changes, both the graphics and the genres of games. And this is where The Other Brothers game comes in in an illogical way, which, in essence, is a remake of the famous classic in a modern way. Well, let's see what came of it. 
The Other Brothers is a brutal game. Yes, yes, everything is grown-up here – two normal mechanics, a girl, a car thief … In general, everything is very nothing with the plot, there are many different cut-scenes, minor characters and options for passing the level. 
The gameplay has remained unchanged, or rather its meaning – you need to overcome obstacles to reach the end of the level, but the enemies have become much tougher: dogs, thugs, divers with harpoons – this is not a complete list of possible enemies. The level, as I mentioned above, can be passed in several ways – either at the top, or, if you have not jumped somewhere, at the bottom and even under water. You can always get out from somewhere, you don't get stuck anywhere. 
By design, again, in the best traditions of eight-bit graphics, this style is accentuated in the game, and a serious one – even the transitions from the menu sections are made with the effect of pixelation. 
You can talk about the game, comparing different moments with the original for a long time, but what can be said with confidence – the game is definitely a success. And not even as a remake, no – just as an independent game, with its own atmosphere, plot, characters. The game will definitely appeal to all fans of arcade games, but fans of the Mario series, who just managed to grow up – meat to be torn apart. Good luck!
