The line of photo accessories for smartphones iPhone has been updated. New York-based startup Moondog Labs has introduced a unique anamorphic lens for Apple communicators. His project has already been launched on the Kickstarter online platform for collective funding.

The Moondog Labs 1.33x Anamorphic Adapter is an anti-reflective anamorphic lens that is compatible with smartphones iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. It allows you to take photos and shoot videos in wide format by compressing frames optically horizontally. The aspect ratio of frames taken with this lens is 4: 3, and using special software, pictures and videos can be converted to an aspect ratio of 16: 9.

The Moondog Labs 1.33x Anamorphic Adapter lens barrel is made of aluminum and measures 32 x 26 x 38.5 mm, weighing 49.4 g. Thanks to a unique mechanism, it is securely attached to the lens barrel iPhone, even if if there is a protective film on it.
The project is currently at the fundraising stage. To start mass production, about 30 thousand dollars are needed and in three days the developers managed to collect more than 23 thousand dollars.
