It all started about five years ago. Then I shot on iPhone, because I never had my own camera. They were mostly portraits of my friends or cityscapes. After a while, “an occupation for the soul” unconsciously began to develop into something more. I was just interested in people, and I started shooting non-stop about a year ago.
I created a working page in Instagram only at the end of the summer. This became necessary, since now I was filming not only my friends: they began to recommend me. Before, almost no one saw my works, but then I decided: it's time! If this is an occupation for the soul, then let everyone see my soul.

Most of all I shoot portraits. Through them I can convey the character of a person. Before shooting, I can even go to the client's audio recordings to understand how he lives.

I take a holistic approach to filming: I myself think over locations, style, makeup. After all, I am not just a photographer, but also a stylist. We discuss the image with the client in advance, I tell how I see it in the photo. People rarely know what they want; they say they can't pose and ask me to help. It will not bother me even to make up the client myself, if necessary. The main task of me, as a specialist, is to help a person reveal himself from beginning to end. From the mood, the jokes to the turn of the head, everything affects the end result.
Of course, it is very important for me to be on the same wavelength with a person. All clients, as a rule, become, if not friends, then good friends: if our views are radically different, we are not on our way. True, so far nothing of the kind has happened. After all, how do we choose a photographer? First of all, it seems to me, according to the “mood” of his photographs.

The most unusual clients for me are the guys. It's still unusual for me to shoot men, and with women it's just more interesting: through postures and facial expressions they can convey many different moods, which cannot be said about men. It is more difficult to liberate them, to tune in the right way.
I photograph iPhone 8+ using portrait mode. Let's be honest: if I had an older model, the photos would not look like that at all. In terms of filming, I am a perfectionist: it is better to clearly expose the frame once and take a picture, than to take a bunch of pictures and choose from them.
I also process photos on my phone. Previously, I only used VSCO, but now Photoshop has been added to it, Lightroom, Snapseed and Kuni – it is not so well known, but there are many useful features.
I plan to develop further. If things go uphill, then I would like to completely go into photography and go to work in another country. Traveling inspires me a lot: I am inspired by new people, their stories. It gives me great pleasure!
