Removing widgets on iPhone

One of the innovations of the operating system iOS 10 is the appearance of widgets. You can get to them if you swipe the home screen to the right. If there is a green circle with a cross inside near all the widgets, the removal process was successful and they will no longer consume Internet traffic and battery power.
