All that will ask of you at the service center is to turn off the “Find my iPhone” function … This program has been launched since May 2 in all countries where iPhone is officially sold. including in Russia. So, if you began to notice that on your beloved iPhone 5, the on / off button (located at the end of the device) starts working every other time. Or you just want a new phone to replace your beaten time 🙂 Go to the program page https://ssl.apple.com/ru/support/iphone5-sleepwakebutton/ and enter the serial number iPhone for verification. If you are the lucky one, you will see the following message: “The entered serial number of the device iPhone 5 participates in this program. Follow the instructions below to order replacement of the 'Sleep / Wake' button.” 
Now select your nearest authorized company service center Apple and call there to see if they are participating in the Sleep / Wake button replacement program iPhone 5. Already in the service center itself it became known that the phone is changing completely. Those. the button will not be repaired, but simply replaced by another one. I hope new :). It came as a surprise to me. On the one hand, pleasant. But on the other hand, everything that was acquired by overwork had to be immediately sent to iCloud. And the data from the device itself is completely erased, tk. I kept credit card numbers and PIN codes … But it doesn't matter. 
The only request when accepting the device was to disable the “find mine iPhone” service, but this condition is probably optional. The new phone will be handed over to me in two weeks. What kind of device it will be and in what condition it will be, I will write here when I get it in my hands. Continued here. A few days later the phone was returned by the service due to the fact that it was sold in the UK and intended for use in that country. Calling support Apple clarified the situation. In Russia, under the quality program, you can only exchange devices sold by official dealers Apple. To exchange a phone purchased in the UK, you must visit an authorized service center Apple in that country.
